Direct screening easily applies single color logos to products by pressing ink through a fine mesh screen, leaving a color imprint on the material's surface. Multi-colored logos are applied through Transfers. Logos are reverse-screened onto a paper-like transfer material and then applied to a material's surface with heat and pressure. Photo Real transfers intricate logos on to products by using transfer techniques with very fine halftones and an expanded color range.
To use this classic method, a design must be transferred from an image to the needles, threads, stitch types and transitions through a process called Digitizing. The logo is then embroidered on to the merchandise.
